LegalSettle by L.A Associates (“LegalSettle”, “we”, “our”, “us”) values transparency and fairness in all transactions. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling requests are handled for our legal services.

By booking any service or making a payment, you agree to this policy.

1. Consultation Fees

• Paid consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the consultation has been completed.

• If a consultation is cancelled by LegalSettle due to unavoidable circumstances, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

2. Cancellation by Client

• Cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation time.

• If cancelled within the allowed time, the consultation may be:

  • Rescheduled, or

  • Refunded (after deducting payment gateway or administrative charges, if applicable)

• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Rescheduling Policy

• Clients may request rescheduling of consultations subject to advocate availability.

• Rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

• Multiple rescheduling requests may not be entertained.

4. Documentation & Drafting Services

• Fees paid for legal drafting, notices, agreements, opinions, or document review are non-refundable once work has commenced.

• If work has not started and cancellation is requested, refund eligibility will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5. Custom Services & Retainers

• Services such as loan settlement, corporate consulting, mediation, arbitration, or retainer packages are provided on a custom quotation basis.

• Refund terms for such services will be governed by the specific agreement or engagement letter shared with the client.

6. Payment Failures & Duplicate Payments

• In case of failed transactions or duplicate payments, the excess amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after verification.

7. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

• Consultation already delivered

• Delay or non-performance caused due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client

• Change of mind after service initiation

• Dissatisfaction with possible or expected legal outcomes

• Failure to attend scheduled consultation without prior notice

8. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment only

• Processing time may vary depending on banks or payment gateways

• LegalSettle is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers

9. Policy Modifications

LegalSettle reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
